In the Fall of 2010 I got a call from the Den Leader of my oldest son. He was at a Leaders meeting (leaders from the Pack) and they had been talking about me. "Oh boy," I thought. Did I say something wrong? I sometime put my foot in my mouth and not even realize it. They asked me if I would like to be the new Cubmaster. I asked, "What is a Cub - Master?" "Oh nothing really important," they said.
They explained to me that I would just MC Pack meetings and since I showed up to all the events anyways it would not be much more than an extra hour a week. Well it wasn't quite that.
In short, I have been a volunteer in BSA since 2010 and have served as a Den Leader to District Chair.
If you ever want to find me, I am in currenty in the Grand Canyon Central District. This is mostly the metro Phoenix Area, but also parts of Scottsdale and Glendale, Az.
